With over excited children, the ball pool is prone to faecal and urine accidents. This if undetected can cause odour and the possible closure of the facility. The ball pool can also be contaminated by sneezing, coughing children or even by nappies that are undone or plasters on wounds that come off.
Ball washing is a necessary part of owning a soft play area, all balls should be removed and sanitised atleast annually although best practice this should be done every 3 to 6 months. Dependent on customer numbers. Balls are dryed using air movers and replaced after the ball pool floor has been sanitised. Any mats should be lifted and cleaned underneath.
Many unwanted items are found in the bottom of the ball pool floor. Over the years we have found items such as mobile phones, flick knifes, lighters and needles. Dead rodents and their deposits can also lead to significant issues for your business if discovered by your customers.
Our ball sanitising system can extract the balls very quickly, and replace them in the same way as soon as the washing process has been carried out.
It is recommended best practice to complete a ball wash and ball pool clean AT LEAST once a year. We provide you with a Certificate upon completion, which can be hung on the wall at your facility as peace of mind to parents. It’s also a useful reminder to you to re-book annually.
